The STPR2 Consultation will remain open until Friday 15 April 2022 and can be accessed here.

Any assistance that you can provide in raising awareness in the final weeks of this formal STPR2 Consultation amongst your members/colleagues and through promotion on your social media channels, newsletters or other communication channels would be most appreciated. We have attached a poster, providing information on the STPR2 Consultation which can be printed and displayed during the remainder of the consultation period.

Information on vaccination arrangements – From DGHSCP
Please find attached here details on the current arrangements around vaccinations – noting the current focus on scheduled vaccinations for 75s and above and those aged 5 to 11, and the accompanying pause in drop-in clinics.
Also included here is information for people who, through the national appointing, may have been provided with an appointment at a location not most immediate to them – and directions on how to resolve this.

Sexual Entertainment Venues – Consultation on Draft Policy Statement
LICENSING OF SEXUAL ENTERTAINMENT VENUES CONSULTATION
At its meeting on 24 August 2021, the Communities Committee of Dumfries and Galloway Council decided to licence Sexual Entertainment Venues throughout Dumfries and Galloway to ensure these business operate safely and appropriately.
The date this new licensing regime takes effect is 1 January 2023.
As part of the legal process, the Council is required to prepare and publish a Sexual Entertainment Venues Policy Statement to support the considerations of:
- Preventing public nuisance, crime and disorder
- Securing public safety
- Protecting children and young people from harm
- Reducing violence against women
A draft Policy Statement has now been prepared and the Council is seeking your views on its terms.
